What is it?

Melaz-K cream reduces the activity of melanocyte tyrosinase thereby treating melasma, UV-induced hyperpigmentation, and other post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Kojic Acid gently exfoliates & further reduces post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (like acne scars).

Arbutin and Kojic Acid are natural demelanizing agents. Kojic Acid is ideal for stubborn dark spots that do not respond to other skin-lightening agents. Alpha Arbutin dramatically reduces dark spots and blemishes for brighter, even-looking skin.

Backed by Science

According to research, topically applied Kojic acid works by inhibiting a pigment-producing enzyme in your skin called tyrosinase. This interaction keeps melanocytes, or the cells that form melanin, in your skin from becoming overstimulated—which is what causes dark spots in the first place.

In addition to controlling the uneven production of melanin, then Kojic acid will help calm the skin, reduce inflammation, and help promote the health of the skin's natural barrier.

Directions for Use

  • Apply it on the affected skin area after proper cleansing by gently tapping it on the skin.
  • With a circular motion, evenly spread the Melaz-K cream and allow your skin to absorb it.
  • For best results apply in the morning and evening.

Ingredients

  • Kojic Acid Dipalmitate: Kojic Acid is an exfoliating agent, and it removes dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and organisms that might be thriving on your skin. It reveals a newer skin layer and aids in reducing melanin production. Kojic acid is a natural crystal-like substance produced by some species of fungi, especially Aspergillus Oryzae.
  • Alpha Arbutin: Alpha Arbutin works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity that limits the melanin production in your skin. Less tyrosine and less melanin which lead to lesser pigmentation, dark spots, and a more even complexion. Be it age spots, acne scars, or post-blemish redness, alpha arbutin minimizes it all.
  • Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It is more stable in water, but it is less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid.
  • Octinoxate: Octinoxate, also called Octyl methoxycinnamate or OMC, is a chemical commonly used in cosmetic and skincare products around the world. OMC is known to block UV-B rays and can also help your skin to better absorb other ingredients. OMC helps to de-tan the skin and acts as a skin protector to skin.
  • Titanium Dioxide: Titanium Dioxide works as a UV filtering ingredient in Melaz-K cream. It helps protect a person's skin by blocking the absorption of the sun's ultraviolet light that can cause sunburn.
  • Tocopheryl Acetate: Tocopheryl Acetate is a specific type of vitamin E, in a class of organic chemical compounds known as tocopherols. Vitamin E protects the skin from harmful UV rays and maintains its vitality.
